ITINERARY:
DAY 1 - Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 - Marrakech and Casablanca
Morning visit to the Majorelle Gardens, then head toward Casablanca to discover the incredible Hassan II Mosque and pay a visit to the Habbous souk. End the day at Rick's Café (a recreation of the bar from the film 'Casablanca') for dinner and drinks. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 3 - Rabat and Fez
This morning we bid farewell to Casablanca and drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We'll visit the Royal Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, the ancient necropolis site of Chellah, and the fortress of Ouddayas. After that depart to Fez. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 4 - Fez
We'll meet our local guide and walk through the alleys of the old town of Fez. We'll visit the tanners situated before the Andalusian quarter; continue to Ess-Seffarine Square; the Moulay Idriss tomb; the El-Nejjarine Square; the cabinet makers’ souk; completing our tour with a visit to the vast Bou Inania Medersa and Bab Boujloud. Free afternoon to shop or to discover the city on your own. Dinner with show at Palais Menebhi Restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 5 - Meknes and Fez
This morning we continue our journey to Meknes to visit the main tourist sites such as Bab el-Mansour (the giant imperial gateway built by Moulay Ismail to show the strength of his new capital to Fez and Marrakech), Lehdim Square and the old Medina. Then we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis. Back to Fez and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 6 - Fez and Marrakech
Here we have two options; one route that crosses the Anti Atlas giving the chance to see Ifran bin el Ouidan and Ouzoud water falls and overnight at Ouzoud village; or we can go to Marrakech directly by highway, which is more comfortable but with less attractive spots to visit.
DAY 7 - Marrakech
Breakfast at your hotel. We'll have a guided tour in Marrakech visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, Palais Bahia, Saadien Tombs. Then you'll enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city by yourself. Fantasia dinner at Chez Ali Restaurant and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
